The club was founded in 1982 with the purchase of Northeast Sail & Motor Facility. Having a prime waterfront location and a deep water mooring field in Wolfeboro Bay, it is an ideal location for both sail and power boats. Members have the choice of having a slip, a mooring, or they may leave their boat on a trailer and have it launched when needed. The club has the following amenities:
►Club house with a function room, kitchen, and bathrooms with showers.
►Dinghy/Kayak racks; Private parking; Gas; Pump-out facilities; Water-taxi service.
►Ship’s store with clothing, novelty items, and marine supplies; Sandy beach; Launch service.
►Nationwide reciprocity with other yacht clubs.
The club provides full storage and launching/hauling services that include:
►Indoor or outdoor storage; A 30 ton crane, two forklifts, bunk trailers, and three tow vehicles.
►Dry Sail/Valet service for boats 24 ft or less; A full service repair shop operated By Irwin Marine.
The club sponsors social events during the boating season. For example, cookouts on Memorial Day, the 4th of July and Labor Day; a lobster / clambake, and a western style BBQ. Three of these events have live entertainment and dancing with live music such as jazz, rock-and-roll, and a Caribbean steel band.
The club’s charter limits membership to 150. Currently there are 115 members.
Costs, Dues, and Fees associated with the club are outlined on the Costs, Dues, and Fees page. Members receive special pricing that is not available to the general public.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at membership@wcyc-nh.com, or stop by the Club if you have any questions or need more information.
