The new weather station is installed on the roof of the Clubhouse as of 7/14/2010 thanks to Rick and his crew.

The home page shows a real-time "sticker" provided by a service called Weather Underground.
The data that the sticker shows is being provided to them by our weather station in a real-time basis.

If the sticker shows that it's being updated every few seconds, then it's displaying real-time data.
If the sticker shows that it has been some time (hours, days) since it has been updated, then it's not real-time and the link to the internet has been interrupted. When this occurs, I will look into the issue and repair it.

By clicking on the sticker, you can see more data and history for our station. Our code for the weather station is: KNHWOLFE4.
You can see graphs of wind, rainfall, wind direction, temp, etc.  You can also look at previous time periods as well as regional maps, etc.  I encourage all to check out what is available.  Remember however that the data you see is only accurate for WCYC as of 7/14/2010. Prior to that date, the data was test data only.

As of now, the Clubhouse PC is running to supply the data to the internet. I will be looking to add capabilities that will make this more automatic and will eliminate the need for the Clubhouse PC to do the work.
